Home accidents can put children in danger. A safe home is a priority, not only for parents with children, but indeed for everyone. You can reduce the risk of furniture accidents very easily.
The best way to help avoid furniture accidents is to secure furniture to the wall. Furneo urges customers to inspect their furniture to ensure that they are correctly built as per the instructions provided with the product, then securely anchor them to the wall. Failure to do this may result in injury or death. Fixing devices for the wall are not included since different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the walls in your home. For advice on suitable fixing systems, please contact your local specialised dealer.
Please note that certain pieces of furniture contain glass. These items should be kept out of the reach of children, and should be checked to be secure before their use.
- Never putting a TV or other heavy objects on top of any piece of furniture, not intended for use with a TV.
- Placing heavy objects in the lowest drawers of your furniture.
-Never letting children or anyone else climb or hang on drawers, doors or shelves.
